What do the colored dot icons in the Visitor Log mean?

There are five columns of circular icons in the Visitor Log. For each of the recent visitors, these icons show characteristics of their visit to your store. Click on a "View" ('search globe') icon to see full details about that visit.

The dots are black when they do not apply to that visit.

"From URL" (purple dot) shows that the visitor followed a link from another website (referrer) to reach your store. Clicking on this icon takes you to the referring webpage.

"Campaign" (blue dot) shows that the visitor reached your store through an advertising campaign that used an identifying AdCode. Holding your mouse over this icon displays the specific campaign code.

"Cart" (yellow dot) shows that the visitor added at least one item to their shopping cart during this visit. Clicking on this icon takes you to the contents of that visitor's shopping cart.

"Order" (green dot) shows that the visitor completed an order during this visit. Clicking on this icon takes you to the order invoice information, including details of shipping, payment, and items ordered.

"Message" (red dot) shows that the visitor received an error message from the store software during this visit. Holding your mouse over this icon displays the number of times that the visitor received error messages. To see the exact errors, click on the "View" icon, and examine the Error Log section at the bottom of the View Session page.
