A user account with API Access is setup under Settings > Security > User Roles/Groups
You need to define a User Group with API access and then create a User Account with login credentials.
User Group
If you have a User Group with API Access setup, you can skip this step and setup a User Account and create a login id directly.
If you don't already have a User Group setup with API access you can create one under
Settings > Security > User Roles/Groups
User Accounts
Create a User account and assign the API Access group. This would be the login credentials for API access.
Browse to Settings> Security > Users
Create a User Account:
- Click the New Tab
- Enter the User Name and Password (required fields)
- Select the user group that was given API access in the step above
- Save the settings
Note: The password is limited to 12 characters.
The username and password you setup here will give API access permissions.
Also note, that this particular integration requires the paid SOAP API Access. If you'd like API access, please send in a ticket requesting API Access and we'll get you squared away!
